Naomi from Pole Land Fitness and I got together to create a shoot for a magazine article that was being written about her. Naomi suffers from Pancreatic cancer and has beaten it once before – the article was about how she used pole dancing to recuperate and become strong again. It also includes her daughter who was by her side throughout.
It was so cold out on the Jetty – so we made it quick! Here’s a few from the afternoon…
Argh! It’s been WAY too long since I have blogged. I’ve been a little busy…
I wanted to share this awesome family I had the pleasure of photographing. It was in the middle of the Relay For Life – I had to leave for a couple of hours, photograph these wonderful guys, and then head back for my all nighter in the freezing cold. (and it was cold – the ice in the esky RE-froze whilst I was walking around the track!!)

Ashleys’ partner bought her a photoshoot as part of her birthday present. They travelled in from Grafton to my studio to spend a few hours with us.

Monday to Friday it rained, and rained and rained. Saturday dawned bright and clear with a few clouds just so it wasn’t really hot. Pete and Laine were to be married and no one could have been happier than these two.
There were married on the beach just outside Darlington Park at Arrawarra. The weather was in our favour with only a slight breeze blowing through the ceremony.
Pete and Laine, it was a pleasure meeting you both and a joy and honour to photograph your wedding.

Ella came into the studio today with her 2 yr old brother Mark, and Mum and Dad. Ella had come in for some newborn photos. She is two weeks old and just gorgeous.
Mark ended up crashing in the car when Dad took him for a drive and I concentrated on trying to get Ella to sleep. She decided today was the day she was going to be awake (apparently this is a first in her whole two weeks of life!!) so we weren’t able to get a huge amount of poses out of this session.

Harper was brought to me after her Mum saw some other shots I did of a friend’s bub. She’d only just moved to Coffs and didn’t know many people. As such, her gorgeous daughter was 5 weeks old when she came for her first photoshoot!
And she just didn’t want to sleep! I got a few of her sleeping and the other times she just looked at me. Boy could she resist sleep!!

She tried so hard to keep her eyes open – for most of the session! She only cried when I tried to put her to sleep…
But we know she can sleep!! I love this one – it says ” Not right now – I’m sleeping”

I’ve known Kimmy since we were small. We had many a sleepover and many weekends spent down at Boambee Creek Reserve. Our parents were great friends and part of APEX. We drifted apart as we reached highschool and then I moved away.
It was so great to reconnect with Kim and her family when I moved back – we found each other doing aqua aerobics of all things! Then winter set in and I chickened out…
Last Sunday we all went for a drive out to beautiful Friday Creek and spent a couple of hours trying to shoo away a dog who was interested in the proceedings, blow some bubbles, nearly lose some sunnies in the creek and me making silly noises to get the girls to look at me!
It so great to be able to capture you all – thanks so much for a great afternoon!
Well Lucas was my very, very first newborn. He was only 6 days old!
Mum Kris was wonderful and gave him a feed every time I unsettled him and he woke up! We worked with the natural light coming in through the gorgeous front window. Here is a sneek peek of what we got..

Every term, 2 children in their year get a Star award. It’s the highest award you can get for the year and I’m chuffed Liana got one. AND… she’s only in Kindergarten!

Zaden was my very first newborn baby to photograph. I had previously photographed a smaller bub, however she was 4 weeks old and decided to resist my poses!
Zaden was lovely – when he finally got to his deep sleep I had to work quickly. He was so gorgeous and I loved working with him and Mum Tori.
